Cuban doctors are already in Azerbaijan!

PASHA Life Insurance and PASHA Insurance companies supported the involvement of doctors from Cuba to Azerbaijan to figh the COVID-19 pandemic

In accordance with the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev to the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers, another group of foreign specialists working in the field of fighting a new type of coronavirus were invited to Azerbaijan.

PASHA Holding and its subsidiaries were once again one of the first companies to respond to the President’s call for large organizations to pay due attention to Corporate Social Responsibility.

Thus, 115 Cuban medical specialists were involved to Azerbaijan to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, which has devastated the whole world and endangered the health of our citizens. Among them are epidemiologists, infectious disease specialists and resuscitators.

The specialists have extensive experience in combating the wide-spread infectious diseases in Cuba, especially the Ebola virus. Considering that, Cuban professionals posses the expertise in the field of health and medicine, they express their confidence that our medical staff will make special progress in the fight against the COVID-19 virus. Thus, the health workers coming to our country will share their experience to defeat the pandemic with the help of local doctors, and will work with their Azerbaijani colleagues in the treatment of patients infected patients.

It should be noted that during the COVID-19 pandemic, PASHA Holding and its subsidiaries have already taken several large-scale measures to fight the coronavirus. Social responsibility-oriented activities such as the establishment of a laboratory to fight coronavirus with the support of the Group of Companies, support for the “We are strong together” project implemented by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Regional Development Public Union and provision of microcredits to farmers have been carried out jointly with the State Agency for Agricultural Credits under the Ministry of Agriculture.
